Cancellation Policy
A Note about Insurance
My current fee for adolescent & individual therapy is $125 per 50 minute session.
My current fee for family therapy is $150 per 50 minute session.
I accept all major credit cards as a form of payment.
In the event you need to cancel or change your scheduled appointment, please provide 24 hours notice. Missed appointments, or appointments that are not cancelled within the 24 hour window will be charged the full session amount.
Whether or not you receive therapy services from Kelley Smith Therapy or from another mental health professional, please consider that insurance companies require mental health professionals to assign a mental health diagnosis code to clients paying through insurance in order for insurance companies to make payments. Insurance does not cover personal growth or general hardship support, and therapy must be deemed “medically necessary” to treat a condition. This diagnosis becomes part of your permanent medical record. Many clients choose to pay out of pocket, or private pay. At this time, I am only accepting private pay clients.
